Guidance on how to access and view your timetable

Your timetables will be one of the most important things you'll use every day of uni. It's pretty self-explanatory, but they'll tell you which rooms you're in for lectures, which lecturer you'll have, and what times your classes start, etc. However, you may have some questions about it...

How do I access my timetable?

  • QMPlus: Log in and look for timetable information.
  • QM App: View personal schedules on your phone.
  • Web Timetable: Select 'Students' on the main page and input your student number.

After enrollment, your timetable should be updated within 2-3 working days. If you're still unable to view it, please contact your Academic Department.

What if I change course?

If you wish to change course, please get in touch with your course administration. If you've already changed courses, it can usually take 48-72 hours to update your official timetable.

When will I be able to view my timetable?

  • First year: As soon as you've enrolled, you'll be able to see your timetable within 2-3 working days.
  • Returning students: You should be able to view your timetable in August of the Academic Year you are beginning - it's part of a term-time release.

What are the term dates and exam periods?

Term dates and exam periods can be found on Queen Mary's official calendar page. You'll be able to see when semesters begin and finish, with any applicable holidays and exam periods.

Got specific questions on your own personal timetable? You can always contact your lecturers to learn more about what's coming up on your course.
